R&D Structural Analysis Engineer (CFD)

Sönmez Transformer Company ( STS ) is a fast-growing company in the energy sector. STS manufactures power transformers, special transformers for different applications, and reactors. STS was founded in 1976. Our production plant is located in Dilovasi, Kocaeli and we have an office in Istanbul Anatolian Side. Our current export rate is more than 95% worldwide; our main markets are Central Europe, North America, and Australia. We are seeking an R&D Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in the power transformer manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and implement to the related CFD process ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in related University, Knowledge of welded manufacturing and fabrication processes . Proficiency in ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS Workbench, and ANSYS Fluent . Knowledge of optimization techniques used in engineering analysis. Strong project management and teamwork skills. Ability to perform CFD analysis, Solid understanding of engineering mathematics and physics . Key Responsibilities Perform Finite Element Method (FEM) analyses. Conduct dynamic analyses , including fatigue, stress, and life assessment . Perform shock and vibration analyses . Perform CFD analyses Prepare and present analysis reports . Carry out geometric modeling and pre-processing activities. Prepare technical documentation and deliver technical presentations.
