We are looking for a motivated 3rd/4th • year student of the Tobacco Expertise School (Tütün Eksperliği Yüksekokulu) to join our Leaf Cluster Oriental team in Izmir as a Project Intern for 11 months (December 2026 – October 2027). You will be part of our “Processing Performance Improvement Project”, applying your theoretical knowledge in a real industrial environment, learning how tobacco processing operations and key quality parameters are monitored on site, and developing your skills in tobacco buying, processing and quality evaluation. Key Responsibilities Support the “Processing Performance Improvement Project” by tracking, structuring and reporting operational processing data on a regular basis. Monitor tobacco processing operations and key quality parameters on site, and document observations in line with PMI standards. Learn and support tobacco buying, processing and quality evaluation activities during the busiest period of the annual crop cycle. Join field and processing facility visits with the Leaf Buying team and contribute to visit notes and follow-ups. Follow up on samples, data requests and project actions together with suppliers and internal teams. Prepare clear reports, dashboards and presentations summarizing project findings and improvement opportunities. Apply your theoretical tobacco knowledge in an industrial production environment through on-the-job learning and hands-on field work. Use Excel (required) and Power BI (preferred) to manage, visualize, and present data effectively. Qualifications Currently a 3rd/4th • year student at the Tobacco Expertise School (Tütün Eksperliği Yüksekokulu). Availability to work 2 days a week (weekdays) during the 11-month project period. Willingness to work at processing facilities and travel to field locations when needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel (required). Good command of English, both written and verbal (preferred). Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
