Plant Manager

At Servet , we are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations across three production facilities and play a key role in our next phase of operational transformation and growth. This is more than a traditional factory management role. We are seeking a hands-on, analytical manufacturing leader who can translate operational data into measurable improvements, build high-performing teams, optimize production costs, and drive technology-enabled operational excellence. The successful candidate will take ownership of production, production planning, maintenance, and technical operations while contributing to the planning, development, and commissioning of our new manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Operations & Operational Excellence Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations across three production facilities, ensuring alignment in operational standards, performance targets, and execution. Drive continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), capacity utilization, labor productivity, and production efficiency. Identify production bottlenecks, reduce waste, rework, and unplanned downtime, and optimize unit manufacturing costs. Establish a performance-driven operating model supported by clear KPIs, accountability, and structured operational reviews. Data-Driven Management & ERP Optimization Utilize Odoo ERP as a core platform for production planning, manufacturing execution, inventory management, and operational performance monitoring. Improve ERP data accuracy, reporting reliability, and integration across manufacturing, maintenance, and warehouse operations. Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports, including variance analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions. Translate complex operational data into actionable insights and management decisions. Production Planning & Cost Optimization Oversee integrated production planning based on demand forecasts, order requirements, inventory levels, and available capacity. Improve production schedule adherence and coordination with sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams. Monitor and optimize raw material consumption, labor efficiency, energy usage, maintenance expenses, and unit production costs. Lead measurable cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives without compromising product quality or food safety. Maintenance, Engineering & Automation Evaluate machinery performance, cycle times, equipment availability, and technical production constraints. Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance practices to improve equipment reliability. Identify and implement industrial automation and process improvement opportunities. Assess machinery and equipment investments through technical feasibility, ROI, payback period, and capacity improvement analyses. New Plant Investment & Project Management Play a leading role in the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of our new manufacturing facility. Contribute to production layout design, equipment selection, capacity planning, and manufacturing process optimization. Coordinate CAPEX planning, investment feasibility, project timelines, and technical stakeholders. Ensure new manufacturing systems are designed for operational efficiency, digital integration, automation, and scalability. Leadership & Organizational Development Lead and develop production, planning, maintenance, and warehouse teams through clear objectives and performance management. Build a strong culture of operational discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. Maintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence across production facilities. Drive organizational change, strengthen management capabilities, and establish sustainable operating practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing, including managerial responsibility as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Manufacturing Director within the last 5 years. Experience managing multiple production facilities or manufacturing operations involving different production technologies is preferred. Proven expertise in manufacturing operations management, production planning, operational excellence, and cost optimization. Strong experience in ERP-driven manufacturing management. Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred; advanced experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems will also be considered. Demonstrated ability to establish manufacturing KPIs, analyze OEE, improve capacity utilization, and deliver measurable productivity and cost improvements. Solid technical understanding of industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, manufacturing automation, and capacity expansion. Experience in new plant setup or major production line investment projects. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, financial awareness, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Proven ability to lead cross-functional manufacturing teams, manage change, and build performance-oriented organizations. A hands-on, results-driven leadership approach with strong execution and operational follow-through. What Makes This Role Different?
