OBSS is looking for a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering end-to-end software solutions across diverse industries. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that solve real business problems. Qualifications / Technical Skills Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services . Hands-on experience with Banksoft or Ocean (or equivalent card management platforms). Deep domain knowledge in card payments , including issuing, acquiring, switch, authorization, clearing, settlement , and loyalty/campaign systems . Strong technical analysis skills covering SQL/PL-SQL querying, API testing (Postman/Swagger) , BPMN process mapping, and UML modeling. Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC, utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence , and Figma for wireframing. Ability to approach AI with curiosity and actively incorporate AI-powered tools into daily workflows to enhance productivity. Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and clear written/verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Main Responsibilities Conducting business and functional analysis for Card Management Systems , credit/debit card operations, POS/ATM networks, and clearing/settlement processes ( Visa, Mastercard, TROY ). Gathering, documenting, and validating functional requirements from business stakeholders; converting them into Functional Specification Documents (FSD) , Epics , User Stories , and clear Acceptance Criteria . Analyzing system flows, REST/SOAP API integrations, data mappings, and business logic alongside software architects and development teams. Analyzing and supporting implementation, configuration, and integration processes within Banksoft and Ocean card management platform ecosystems. Preparing comprehensive UAT test scenarios , performing API and database validations using SQL/PL-SQL , coordinating end-to-end testing, and managing release sign-offs. Creating clear technical documentation, user manuals, and release communications while supporting post-go-live resolution of issues. Ensuring all software solutions align with local banking regulations , system constraints, and international payment scheme standards.
