About The Role(open to Turkiye, India, Egypt) Architect, build and operate production-grade AI solutions for ALJ, including enterprise AI assistants, RAG applications, agentic workflows, model adaptation and AI-enabled integrations. The role combines advanced AI engineering with strong software engineering, cloud deployment, responsible AI, security and enterprise integration, while maintaining portability across models and cloud platforms. Key Accountabilities & KPIs • Deliver secure, production-grade AI applications and agentic solutions. • Engineer reusable, vendor-neutral AI engineering patterns. • Engineer and evaluate RAG, agents and model adaptations. • Operate AI services with security, observability and cost controls. • Integrate AI with ALJ applications, data and workflows. • Establish AI engineering standards and technical leadership. • Business outcomes achieved; production acceptance; reliability and adoption targets met. • Approved designs; reusable components; portability across models and target platforms. • Guardrail effectiveness; incident performance; latency and unit-cost targets achieved. • Reliable APIs / events; controlled permissions; successful end-to-end automation. • Code quality, documentation, mentoring and adoption of approved practices. Major Activities: Translate business opportunities into scalable AI solution solutions, delivery plans and measurable evaluation criteria. Develop production services using advanced Python and JavaScript / TypeScript; build APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations. Design RAG pipelines covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, metadata, hybrid search, reranking, citations and access control. Build agentic systems with planning, tool / function calling, memory, workflow orchestration and human-in-the-loop controls. Evaluate models from Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI and approved open-weight ecosystems. Fine-tune or adapt models using appropriate techniques and datasets; design experiments, evaluations and model-selection evidence. Develop repeatable evaluation suites for accuracy, grounded, safety, tool use, latency, reliability and cost. Implement prompt, model and configuration versioning; LLMOps / MLOps pipelines; deployment automation and rollback controls. Apply guardrails for prompt injection, insecure tool use, sensitive data exposure, harmful outputs and excessive permissions. Deploy containerized AI workloads to Azure, AWS or approved platforms; optimize inference performance and operating cost. Integrate with ERP, CRM, collaboration, knowledge, data and workflow systems across ALJ. Lead technical reviews, troubleshoot production issues, mentor engineers and maintain reference implementations and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent strong professional experience. 5-9 years of professional software / 2-3 years AI engineering experience, including hands-on delivery of production AI applications. Demonstrable experience with LLMs, RAG or agentic systems is essential; model fine-tuning / adaptation and production LLMOps experience are strongly preferred. Advanced Python; strong software engineering, APIs, asynchronous services and testing. LLMs, transformers, embeddings, prompting, structured outputs and tool / function calling. At least two of the following: LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Pipecat/LiveCat or comparable orchestration frameworks. RAG, vector databases, hybrid / semantic search, reranking and document processing. PyTorch and/or TensorFlow; Hugging Face ecosystem; fine-tuning / PEFT / LoRA concepts. Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI and/or AWS Bedrock / SageMaker; ability to work across model providers. Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps / LLMOps, observability and cloud security. Responsible AI, model evaluation, privacy, identity, access control and enterprise integration. Fluent professional English; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business and technology stakeholders. Relevant Microsoft Azure AI, AWS Machine Learning or Kubernetes certification is preferred. Demonstrable production delivery is more important than certification alone.
