About The Role(open to Turkiye, India, Egypt) Design, build, integrate and operate secure, scalable web applications and digital services for ALJ businesses. The role combines hands-on front-end and back-end coding with system design, API integration, cloud deployment and production ownership, while creating reusable engineering patterns that support ALJ's enterprise architecture and digital delivery standards. Key Accountabilities & KPIs • Deliver end-to-end web applications, APIs and integrations. • Own technical design and produce maintainable production code. • Engineer secure, resilient and observable services. • Integrate ALJ enterprise platforms and external services. • Improve engineering automation and delivery discipline. • Collaborate with architecture, security, data and business teams. • Quality releases delivered to agreed scope; low escaped defects; stakeholder acceptance. • Architecture / code review compliance; reduced technical debt; reusable components. • Security findings resolved; availability, latency and incident targets achieved. • Reliable interfaces; documented APIs; successful end-to-end processing. • Automated test coverage, CI/CD adoption and shorter release lead time. • Timely decisions, clear documentation and effective stakeholder feedback. Major Activities: Design responsive web applications using React or Angular and TypeScript. Develop backend services using Node.js, Java / Spring Boot, .NET or Python, according to the approved solution stack. Design REST APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations with appropriate versioning and error handling. Model and optimize relational and NoSQL data stores; ensure data integrity and performance. Integrate with ERP, CRM, identity, collaboration, data and third-party platforms used across ALJ. Apply OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, Microsoft Entra ID, secrets management and secure coding practices. Create automated unit, integration, API and end-to-end tests. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers and cloud deployment configurations. Implement logging, tracing, metrics, alerting and operational dashboards. Participate in architecture, security, code quality and production-readiness reviews. Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis and corrective action. Coach engineers and contribute reusable standards, reference implementations and technical documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent strong professional experience. 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years delivering full-stack, cloud-hosted applications and enterprise integrations in production. Advanced JavaScript / TypeScript and React or Angular. Strong backend engineering in Node.js, Java / Spring Boot, .NET or Python. REST APIs, microservices, event-driven design and enterprise integration. SQL and NoSQL databases; data modelling and performance optimization. Azure and/or AWS; Docker; CI/CD; working knowledge of Kubernetes. Git-based development, automated testing, observability and production support. System design, HLD / LLD documentation and secure software development. Fluent professional English; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business and technology stakeholders. Cloud developer / architect certification from Microsoft Azure or AWS is preferred. Kubernetes, security or relevant framework certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
