Responsibilities Applying appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques by taking students’ individual differences, developmental features and subject specific objectives into consideration Taking responsibility to ensure and improve students’ academic, social and emotional well-being Contributing to curriculum development under the supervision of the department head Updating subject area knowledge and skills by following national and international programs closely Planning teaching programs in line with the school values What we expect An undergraduate degree in English Teaching, English Language or Literature A certified teaching certificate that qualifies the candidate to teach in their home country (e.g., PGCE, MED) Minimum 3 years experience at a private school; Experience in class setting with the target age group Experience in teaching phonics, reading and writing strategies Ability to develop and use various assessment tools Ability to design lessons according to the target age group’s characteristics and needs Competence in integrating and using technology in class Effective planning and organization Taking responsibility to conduct interdisciplinary projects Excellent communication skills and adapting to team work Creative problem solving and being solution-oriented Openness to continuous development and life-long learning An undergraduate degree in English Teaching, English Language or Literature A certified teaching certificate that qualifies the candidate to teach in their home country (e.g., PGCE, MED) Knowledge of and/or experience in international programs What we offer Positive and effective-focused work environment, which is formed with trust, sense of belonging and fairness, values humans, creativity and imagination Innovative perspective that is open to change and development, offers opportunities for professional and individual development Working conditions that focuses on and values people
