Test Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a Test Engineer to own the verification and validation of our sensor systems — from design verification in the lab to automated end-of-line testing on the production floor. You will build the test infrastructure that proves our products meet their specifications, including the tools used in sensor production, and you will take part in environmental qualification and on-site field testing with customers. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys instrumentation, measurement, and automation in equal measure. Responsibilities Develop test tools and automation software for production infrastructure Analyze sensor and system performance using laboratory and field test data Define and execute test plans and procedures for design verification, qualification, and production testing Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions Take part in field testing activities and customer acceptance tests Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site Prepare test procedures, test reports, and acceptance documentation required for internal quality processes and customer deliveries Basic Qualifications BSc or MSc in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field At least 2 years of experience Knowledge of hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS-422/485, or Ethernet Proficiency in at least one of C/C++, Python, or MATLAB Experience with version control, debugging tools, and test frameworks Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems (ARM Cortex-M or DSP) Experience with environmental testing and qualification standards such as MIL-STD-810 or MIL-STD-461 Familiarity with sensor technologies (IMUs, temperature, pressure, etc.) Familiarity with statistical methods for test and production data analysis Previous experience in defense, automotive, or industrial automation
