Automation Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Automation Engineer to join our engineering team and support industrial automation projects from design and programming through commissioning and site activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens automation systems, particularly TIA Portal, and a solid understanding of industrial control systems. Responsibilities • PLC programming and system development using Siemens TIA Portal • Development, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation systems • Preparation and modification of PLC, HMI, and control system applications • Supporting FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities • Preparation of technical documentation, I/O lists, system architecture, and related engineering documents • Coordination with electrical, instrumentation, process, and project teams • Troubleshooting control systems and industrial communication networks • Supporting panel design, system integration, and project implementation activities Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field • Good knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal • Experience with Siemens PLC systems, preferably S7-1200 / S7-1500 / S7-300 / S7-400 • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems • Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIBUS • Ability to read and understand electrical and automation drawings • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, and Microsoft Office • Good problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team • Willingness to travel for site commissioning and project activities • Good command of written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Siemens PCS 7 • Knowledge of DCS systems and process automation • Experience with commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities • Familiarity with instrumentation, MCC interfaces, and industrial electrical systems We are looking for candidates who are eager to develop their technical skills, take responsibility in challenging industrial projects, and grow within a professional engineering environment.
