New Graduate Engineer, Power Systems

About the Role Are you a recent engineering graduate ready to start your career in the energy and power industry? We are looking for a motivated New Graduate Engineer, Power Systems to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of power system solutions across a variety of customer projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to electrical distribution, protection systems, power monitoring, automation, digital technologies, and energy management solutions while building a strong technical foundation in the power systems domain. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of power system projects from engineering through commissioning. Assist in preparing technical documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Participate in system design, configuration, testing, and validation activities. Support electrical protection, power distribution, automation, and monitoring solutions. Contribute to troubleshooting and technical problem-solving activities. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, customers, and external partners throughout project execution. Assist in ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations. Participate in site visits, testing, commissioning, and customer support activities when required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices. Learn and apply industry standards, technologies, and engineering methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Interest in power systems, electrical distribution, protection, automation, and energy technologies. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Fluent in English. Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise. Nice to Have Internship experience in power systems, energy management, electrical engineering, automation, utilities, or industrial environments. Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems, power quality, protection relays, or energy management systems. Familiarity with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar engineering software. Exposure to SCADA, PLC, Building Management Systems (BMS), or Power Monitoring Systems.
