Requirements • Graduate of a university Marine Engineering program, • Minimum 1 year of sea service as Oceangoing Chief Engineer on chemical and/or oil tankers, holding a Oceangoing Chief Engineer certificate of competency, • Experience in inventory control, vessel equipment tracking and requirements planning, • Minimum 1 year of service as Second Engineer on tanker vessels prior to obtaining the Oceangoing Chief Engineer certificate, • Experience with SIRE 2.0 and oil major vetting inspection processes, • Proficiency in operating Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) management systems, • Sound knowledge of international maritime standards and regulations, including ISM, ISPS, STCW and MLC, • Competence in training, teamwork and leadership, • Good command of Maritime English, • Commitment to a long-term career with the company, • Knowledge of Nozzle, SAP or similar software is preferred.
