In-House Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced In-House Lawyer to join the legal team of our operations in Turkey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all legal, corporate, and compliance matters locally while coordinating closely with global management and international offices. Key Responsibilities: Review, draft, and negotiate daily operational and commercial contracts for various divisions, Support the legal department of the global headquarter regarding Turkish projects and cross-border matters, Manage all labour law processes, provide legal advice on human resources operations, draft employment agreements, and handle internal personnel-related legal matters, Represent the company in court proceedings before ordinary and arbitration courts, as well as handle dispute resolution through negotiations and settlement agreements, Represent company interests before local authorities, clients, and suppliers, Manage and supervise external legal counsel in pending litigation and legal proceedings in coordination with international offices, Draft corporate resolutions, manage corporate governance, and maintain statutory registers and business licenses under corporate guidelines, Ensure comprehensive contract management and regulatory compliance, Monitor and advise internal stakeholders on relevant legal developments, new legislation, and jurisprudence, Conduct legal research on designated topics and ensure the implementation of internal control systems and corporate compliance policies. Requirements: Law degree from a law school, Admitted to the bar, Minimum 7 years of total work experience gained in a reputable law firm and as an in-house lawyer, Proven experience in providing commercial legal advice within an in-house environment, Direct experience in representing companies in litigation and managing dispute resolution, Strong knowledge of commercial contract law, distribution agreements (online and offline), franchise law, consumer protection law, and labor law, Solid background in intellectual property rights, anti-trust law, and negotiating commercial/retail lease agreements, Excellent command of written and spoken English.
