About The Role As a Director of Security , we rely on you to Ensure the safety and security of all guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel assets through effective risk management and security strategies. Lead and manage the Security team, fostering a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and exceptional service. Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in line with luxury hospitality standards. Oversee investigations related to incidents, accidents, guest concerns, and security breaches, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting. Collaborate closely with hotel leadership and department heads to identify security risks and implement preventive measures. Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with all local laws, health & safety regulations, fire life safety requirements, and company policies. Lead crisis management efforts and coordinate emergency preparedness training and drills. Monitor security systems, surveillance operations, access control procedures, and loss prevention initiatives. Deliver a discreet, guest-centric security service that protects the luxury guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. About You Proven experience as a Director of Security, Security Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort, or international hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of hotel security operations, risk assessment, crisis management, loss prevention, and fire life safety systems. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a calm approach under pressure. Comprehensive understanding of relevant local security, health & safety, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. Experience working with government agencies, law enforcement, and emergency response services. Proficiency in security technologies including CCTV, access control, incident reporting systems, and security management software. Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
