For more information: www.livzym.com Position Summary The Process Engineer will join our production team and be responsible for the execution of upstream and downstream fermentation processes, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and reporting production and process data. The ideal candidate will have an educational background and experience in biotechnology and aseptic production techniques. This position involves both active operational oversight and hands-on involvement in process automation systems, with a strong focus on process excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Ensure and oversee production activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supporting efficient, high-quality, and sustainable operations through a process excellence approach and continuous improvement initiatives. Plan fermentation processes (upstream and downstream), ensure production is carried out in accordance with operational instructions and quality requirements, and prepare relevant reports. Actively participate in automation systems; monitor and record process parameters and contribute to process improvements. Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Analyze deviations and equipment failures that may occur during production, identify root causes, and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Regularly prepare and present production reports and process data to senior management. Maintain an active presence on the production floor and be available to support weekend production operations when required. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field. Preferably 2 years of experience in production or bioprocess engineering. Experience in aseptic production is considered an advantage. Knowledge of automation systems and process control. Familiarity with PID, SCADA, and PLC systems is an advantage. Advanced English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking. Strong teamwork skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to work.
