Senior Linux System Administrator

We have an urgent requirement for bright Senior Linux System Administrator with minimum 5 years of experience. Roles and Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, and management of Unix/Linux-based servers (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, etc.) Implementation of server performance and security monitoring systems User and permission management Management of system updates and patches Monitoring of system performance, log analysis, and optimization efforts Configuration of backup solutions, execution of recovery and disaster recovery scenarios Application of security patches, identification of vulnerabilities, and implementation of preventive measures System control using log management and monitoring tools Container management with technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred) Configuration management using automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.) Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation Knowledge of standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 Experience in security and risk management (CIS, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.) Familiarity with technologies such as Linux Clustering, DNS servers, SAMBA, CIFS, NFS Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related engineering fields Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructures and enterprise-level Unix/Linux systems Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and network configurations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with CI/CD processes Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Proficiency with tools and technologies like Apache, Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE (preferred) Understanding of TCP/IP, network management, and network security Experience using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.
