This is a unique opportunity to join during the construction and commissioning phase of a new facility, shaping the Quality Management System, establishing GMP standards, supporting licensing activities, and building a high-performing quality function from the ground up. Working closely with Operations, Regulatory Affairs and senior leadership, you will ensure the site is inspection-ready, compliant and positioned for long-term success as part of Curaleaf International's growing international footprint. What You'll Be Doing Quality Leadership Lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of the site's Quality Management System (QMS). Establish quality policies, procedures and systems that support GMP compliance and operational excellence. Build, develop and mentor the local Quality team. Act as the senior quality representative for the facility and a key partner to Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Leadership teams. GMP & Compliance Ensure all cultivation, manufacturing and quality activities are conducted in accordance with GMP requirements and internal quality standards. Ensure production activities comply with approved procedures and quality requirements. Lead internal audits, self-inspections and regulatory readiness activities. Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements and EU-GMP aligned standards. Serve as the site's Qualified Person or Responsible Quality representative, where applicable. Quality Systems Establish and maintain systems for deviations, CAPAs, change controls, complaints, training, supplier qualification and document management. Ensure investigations are completed effectively and corrective and preventative actions are implemented. Oversee the review and approval of quality documentation and records. Ensure the integrity, maintenance and preservation of all documentation within the Quality Management System. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Site Start-Up & Licensing Support commissioning, qualification and validation activities. Partner with project teams during construction to ensure quality requirements are embedded from the outset. Support regulatory submissions and licensing activities required for facility start-up. Help prepare the facility for operational launch and future inspections. What We're Looking For Significant experience in a senior Quality Assurance leadership role within a GMP-regulated environment. Experience within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Qualified Person (QP) status or equivalent regulatory qualification. Experience working within international GMP frameworks. Strong knowledge of GMP quality systems, compliance frameworks and inspection management. Experience leading deviations, CAPAs, change controls, audits and quality investigations. Proven experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience Experience supporting site start-ups, facility commissioning or greenfield projects.
