Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Istanbul, Türkiye. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, workstations, and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and monitoring network equipment, resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring system and data security, and providing timely technical support to internal users. The specialist will also assist with IT documentation, participate in system upgrades and implementations, and collaborate with other departments to ensure technology needs are met efficiently and securely. Qualifications Strong foundation in Information Technology, including operating systems, hardware, and common business applications. Hands-on experience with Network Administration and Network Security, including configuration, monitoring, and basic security controls. Proficient Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues across devices, applications, and network components. Customer Service mindset with the ability to support users, explain technical concepts clearly, and manage support requests professionally. Relevant education such as a degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Familiarity with IT best practices, documentation, and ticketing or helpdesk systems. Strong communication skills in English; Turkish language proficiency is an advantage. Ability to work on-site, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalents) are a plus.
