Junior Systems & Operations Specialist About the Job United Racing Şans Oyunları A.Ş. has become authorized provider giving service to operate horse race betting, with the rights and powers to accept bets on horse races in Türkiye, organized both in Türkiye and abroad, effective as of 1 January 2026, pursuant to a 10-year agreement concluded with Türkiye Wealth Fund A.Ş. As United Racing continues to strengthen its operational excellence and technology infrastructure, we are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and technically capable Junior Systems & Operations Specialist to join our Operations Team. The successful candidate will support the continuous operation of the central betting system by monitoring daily race operations, providing first-level technical support to betting outlets, maintaining the accuracy of betting data, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure operational continuity and service excellence. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or other related technical or quantitative fields Previous experience in technical support, IT operations, system monitoring, help desk, or a similar operational role Basic understanding of system architecture, network communications, and operational support processes Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to incident resolution Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment Willingness to work on race days, weekends, and public holidays when required Good command of written and spoken English is an advantage Experience with ERP systems, ticketing tools, or betting operations is considered an advantage Key Responsibilities Monitor the central betting system to ensure uninterrupted operation throughout daily racing activities Provide first-level technical support to betting outlets by resolving system-related issues remotely and escalating complex incidents to the relevant technical teams when necessary Coordinate with Systems Specialists, Technical Service teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of operational and technical issues Verify the accuracy and completeness of official race programs before publication and ensure all updates, withdrawals, cancellations, steward decisions, and race results are accurately reflected in the betting system Manage the opening and closing of betting markets in accordance with official race schedules and operational procedures Ensure online betting platforms, including e-Bayi and other digital sales channels, are properly connected to the central betting system Validate official race results and authorize payout calculations to ensure the accurate processing of winning tickets Verify betting and financial transaction data before transferring information to ERP systems and official digital platforms Execute end-of-day operational procedures, including system closing activities, data backup processes, and operational reporting Prepare and distribute operational reports required by Finance and other business units Perform daily system control checks, identify operational risks or irregularities, and coordinate corrective actions to ensure business continuity Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and service quality Assist senior team members with daily operational activities and actively participate in projects aimed at improving betting systems and operational processes Why Join United Racing?
