# HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/PLACEMENT/CLASSIFICATION)

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.
You will work with selecting officials/managers to recruit for a full range of commonly filled positions, and provide input and guidance on a range of hiring authorities.
You will analyze applications and makes basic qualifications determinations for a full range of commonly filled positions.
You will interpret regulations, policies, and directives, and use good judgment to provide accurate pay setting guidance.
You will respond to visitors and caller inquiries by furnishing information concerning a variety of programs and employment entitlements.
You will maintain organization charts, verify organization data and structures, reflect accurate number of positions by title, series, grade, position number and various coding designations.
You will coordinate, research, and identify entitlements in connection with employee permanent change of station (PCS) moves.
You will prepare miscellaneous documents and perform support services, such as ordering supplies, scanning documents, etc..
You will use personal computer, word processing and other office automation equipment and various software programs to create, edit, retrieve and print variety of documents; produce correspondence; create or maintain spreadsheets or databases.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Processing personnel recruitment actions, onboarding new employees, maintaining and providing HR Data reports to leadership and hiring managers, and assisting customers with HR-related issues, such as personnel, pay and benefits. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
