Turkish Payroll Implementation Consultant Contract: 1+ Year Contract with Potential for Long-Term Extension Location: Turkey– 100% Remote Language: English Employment Type: Contract Market: Turkey / Turkish Payroll Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Turkish Payroll Implementation Consultant to support the implementation and configuration of HR and Payroll solutions for the Turkish market. The ideal candidate will have strong functional experience in HR/Payroll solution implementation, hands-on HRIS experience, and in-depth knowledge of Turkish payroll processes, statutory requirements, and local payroll legislation. Candidates can be based anywhere in EMEA or APAC. English language proficiency is sufficient for this role; Turkish language proficiency is not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the implementation of HR and Payroll solutions for Turkey. Gather and analyze business requirements related to HR, payroll, and local statutory processes. Configure and support payroll and HRIS solutions based on Turkish payroll requirements. Translate local payroll requirements and legislation into functional system requirements. Work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, payroll teams, and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle. Perform payroll configuration, testing, validation, and issue resolution. Support UAT, parallel payroll runs, data validation, and go-live activities. Identify gaps between standard HRIS/payroll functionality and Turkish statutory requirements. Provide functional guidance on Turkish payroll processes and legislation. Prepare functional documentation, configuration specifications, test scenarios, and implementation-related documentation. Troubleshoot payroll and HRIS issues and coordinate with technical teams where required. Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvements. Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable Turkish statutory and regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience implementing HR/Payroll solutions. Strong functional experience in Turkish payroll. Hands-on experience with HRIS / Payroll systems. Strong knowledge of Turkish payroll processes, statutory requirements, and local payroll legislation. Experience with SAP HR/SAP Payroll is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in Workday, Kronos/UKG, or other enterprise HRIS/payroll platforms may also be considered. Experience with payroll implementation, configuration, testing, and go-live activities. Strong understanding of payroll-related business processes and HR operations. Ability to work independently and collaborate with international stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. English proficiency is sufficient; Turkish language is not mandatory. Preferred HRIS / Payroll Background Candidates with experience in one or more of the following platforms are encouraged to apply: SAP HCM / SAP Payroll Workday UKG / Kronos Other enterprise HRIS / Payroll platforms Location & Working Model Candidates can be based anywhere in EMEA or APAC.
