Deputy General Manager

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) to support the General Manager in leading the company's operations, projects and business activities. The Deputy General Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing offshore and onshore operations, ensuring successful project delivery, supporting business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners and regulatory authorities. The position serves as the General Manager's representative when required and contributes directly to the strategic, operational and commercial success of the organization. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in leading the company's operational, technical and commercial activities, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Oversee the successful execution of the projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, contractual, budget and schedule requirements. Coordinate project resources, operational priorities and cross-functional activities to maximize efficiency, optimize resource utilization and minimize operational risks. Monitor project performance, contract compliance and key business metrics, implementing corrective actions and improvement initiatives when required. Act as the General Manager's representative in meetings with clients, partners, subcontractors, classification societies and regulatory authorities when delegated. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders while supporting commercial negotiations, tender evaluations, contract management and business development activities. Promote a strong HSE and quality culture across the organization, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, industry standards and applicable regulations. Provide leadership and guidance to department managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, effective communication and continuous organizational development. Review operational and financial performance, supporting budgeting, cost control initiatives and the achievement of business targets. Identify operational improvement opportunities, manage business risks and contribute to the sustainable growth and long-term success of the organization. Required Qualifications&Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline. MBA or Master's Degree is preferred. Minimum 15 years of professional experience within Offshore Oil & Gas, Marine, Energy or Heavy Industrial sectors. Minimum 5 years of experience in senior management or leadership positions. Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken) are mandatory. Proven experience complex project environments. Strong track record of working with international clients, contractors, classification societies and regulatory bodies.
