Job Site Locations: Sumner, Tacoma, Parkland, Bonney Lake, Bremerton, Lynnwood, Anacortes, Woodinville, & Redmond Date: 9/24 Time: 9AM • 12PM Wage Range: $19.00-$26.00/HR The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. What You Can Expect Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public. Conflict resolution and de-escalation. Secure entrances / exits. Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions. Frequent interactions with client employees and guests. Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity. Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others. Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. Basic Requirements 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required. Above average computer / technology skills needed. Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must have a professional demeanor. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must have 1+ years of experience in customer service / hospitality experience. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus! Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
