SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Transactional Service Center of TRAVEL PROCESSING CENTER. You will verifier accounting data and calculations on travel vouchers for payment and or collection. You will resolve questions of travel entitlements and trains subordinates on proper procedure to complete claims per regulation. You will review operating procedures and guidelines for maximum utilization of manpower, material, and resources. Identifies causative situations and recommends corrective actions as considered necessary. You will research issues and prepare correspondence in response to controversial, sensitive, and significant issues. You will conduct final audit of travel claims and travel advances , certifying the accuracy and validity of monetary entitlements associated with the expenses claimed and authorized on the travel claim. You will provide training to auditors and examiners during policy and regulations changes ensuring personnel possess the most up to date information referenced in the JTR, and DODFMR. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting final audits of travel claims and travel advances, certifying the accuracy and validity of monetary entitlements associated with the expenses claimed and authorized on the travel claim. 2. Overseeing the examination of documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation , and compliance with regulation's for the processing of travel payments. 3. Resolving questions of travel entitlements and training subordinates on proper procedure to complete claims per regulation.
