Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement - Staffing Trainer)

This position is in the Office of Finance and Administration, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, Talent Acquisition Division. About this organization: OFA This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected). You will: Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for human resources staffing specialists, to include staffing process, procedure, policy, and regulatory and program standards. Conduct quality assurance reviews for staffing cases and non-recruit personnel actions for multiple organizations across the Agency. Support quality assurance activities by participating in regular internal and external compliance assessments. Develop and participate in projects to improve and advance the quality and breadth of services offered by the division. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position. NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as independently developing or preparing recruitment materials for federal General Schedule (GS) positions, including job analyses, vacancy announcements, certificate of eligibles, and/or job offers; developing and presenting recruitment or staffing training materials to staff or stakeholders; and coaching or mentoring junior staff.
