We Are Hiring | Procurement Manager – Oil & Gas / Offshore For our offshore crude oil project in Basra, Iraq, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager who will be based in Istanbul. Key Responsibilities Manage the project’s local and international procurement activities from end to end, Identify qualified suppliers, obtain quotations and conduct commercial and technical bid evaluations, Manage the procurement of offshore equipment, mechanical materials, piping, valves, instrumentation and project-specific fabricated items, Lead commercial negotiations regarding pricing, delivery schedules, quality requirements and payment terms, Coordinate purchase orders, contracts, manufacturing follow-up, expediting, inspections and shipment processes, Work closely with engineering, project management, quality, logistics, finance and site teams, Manage procurement budgets, cost analyses, reporting and supply-chain risks, Travel to Dubai and Basra, Iraq, when required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, At least 10 years of procurement experience within EPC, oil and gas, or heavy-industry projects, Proven experience in managing procurement teams and international sourcing processes, Previous procurement experience in offshore oil and gas projects is required, Strong knowledge of technical bid evaluation, contract management and commercial negotiations, Established knowledge of international manufacturers and suppliers, Familiarity with Incoterms, import-export procedures and international logistics, Advanced written and spoken English, Proficiency in MS Office and preferably ERP systems, Currently residing in Istanbul or willing to relocate, Able to travel frequently to Dubai and Iraq.
