Senior Technical Accountant (SEC)

Senior Technical Accountant (70K-80K+Bonus) (Morris Cty NJ) Senior Technical Accountant -- Financial Reporting. • Manage various internal and external financial reporting requirements, including responsibilities related to fiscal month-end financial close, facilitation with external audits of financial statements and related SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings, various SOX 404 compliance efforts, quarterly XBRL reporting and involvement in special projects. • Assist with aspects of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close, financial statement preparation, analysis and variance reporting. • Assist in the preparation of periodic reports to the SEC (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K) • Understand, maintain and update our XBRL reporting framework for SEC compliance • General Ledger account reconciliations • Assist in compliance of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act • Involved in special projects which may include; divestitures, acquisitions, implementation of new accounting pronouncements etc. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting required • CPA or serious CPA candidate required • 2+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting required Functional/Technical Knowledge • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting regulations • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access 70K-80K Range + Bonus Please email Resume to: tsweeney@clarkdavis.com Leading Manufacturing Co. in Morris County NJ.
