PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER Role Purpose The purpose of the Product Development Engineer role is to actively participate in new product development processes, continuous improvement of existing products, and mold workshop operations while ensuring effective process monitoring with a continuous improvement mindset. The Product Development Engineer reports directly to the Product Development Manager. Qualifications & Job Requirements If you: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Have a good command of AutoCAD, Have basic solid modeling skills using SolidWorks, Possess basic knowledge of CAD/CAM applications, CNC milling machines, and lathes, Have an advanced level of Technical English, Have strong problem-solving and communication skills, Preferably have experience in mold manufacturing, machining, welded fabrication, or a related industry, Can make quick and effective decisions and take initiative, Enjoy working on continuous improvement projects and thrive in a team environment, Closely follow technological developments and enjoy conducting detailed technical research, Are willing to work actively in both workshop and production environments and have blue-collar team management skills, Can adapt to flexible working hours, Hold a valid driver's license, actively drive, and have no restrictions on domestic or international travel, Are willing to relocate to Kütahya. Then we'd love to meet you! Take a look at what you'll be doing below. Job Description Monitor and control engineering processes and activities. Coordinate between manufacturing and the mold workshop, providing effective solutions to operational needs. Develop innovative and value-added process improvements within the mold workshop. Ensure all engineering activities are properly documented. Lead projects aimed at reducing mold costs. Analyze equipment losses and implement improvements to reduce scrap rates. Develop and standardize maintenance and repair practices within the workshop. Support quality improvement initiatives related to mold workshop responsibilities to meet customer expectations. Prepare reports related to project activities, implementations, and engineering processes.
