Role Description The Fire Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Pompano Beach, FL. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fore systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled service calls, troubleshooting equipment issues, documenting inspection findings, and ensuring all work complies with applicable fire codes and safety regulations. The Fire Technician will interact with customers on-site, explain service needs, and provide clear recommendations to improve fire safety. The role may also involve assisting with installations and upgrades of fire protection systems as needed. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills related to Fire inspection, service, and maintenance. Candidates should possess skills related to Fire Backflows, Hydrants and Fire Pumps, including testing, repair, and installation support. Candidates should possess skills related to Fire Safety and Life Safety, with knowledge of basic codes, standards, and best practices. Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues with fire protection equipment and systems. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire protection or a related field is beneficial. Prior experience in fire protection services, building maintenance, or a similar technical role is preferred. Ability to read and follow technical manuals, safety procedures, and inspection reports. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work safely in various facility environments. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites as required.
