Position Overview
The Construction Manager – Electrical Engineer (CM-EE) provides specialized electrical engineering and construction management support for a diverse portfolio of construction, renovation, infrastructure modernization, utility, and facility improvement projects at Veterans Affairs Medical Facilities. Serving as the Government's owner’s representative within the assigned discipline, the CM-EE supports project planning, design, procurement, construction, testing/commissioning as applicable, and closeout activities within an active healthcare environment.
The CM-EE applies sound professional judgment to evaluate project documentation, assess constructability and compliance, identify technical and project-delivery risks, and support successful execution. Working collaboratively with VA personnel, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary stakeholders, the CM-EE helps facilitate project delivery while minimizing disruption to patient care, hospital operations, and ongoing medical services.

This is a full-time, onsite position. Location for this position is:Wilmington VA Medical Center, Wilmington, DE
Employees are expected to report to the designated work location during scheduled work hours.
