You will play a crucial role in developing and deploying mission critical software enabling some of the nation's hardest problem solving. Support data management, processing, and presentation software Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, customers, and system users Utilize compiled and non-compiled development languages, AWS/cloud resources and services, and various virtual and physical environments What You’ll Need To Succeed Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Senior must have: Education: Bachelors degree from accredited Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar curriculum Experience: 3+ years of related experience Technical skills: C, C++, Python, etc. No single language preference but familiarity with Python, C++, Java, and other common higher level languages preferred. Familiarity with Amazon Web services resource management and service interfaces desired. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
