# Pharmacy Technician - Macomb Inpatient Pharmacy

RESPONSIBILITIES: As an inpatient pharmacy technician, you'll work alongside our pharmacist team to support patient care. Your key responsibilities include: Receive, process, and enter medication orders into our pharmacy computer system with accuracy and efficiency Prepare medications and create precise labels for dispensing—attention to detail is essential Maintain accurate records and process medication charges in compliance with regulations Manage drug inventory to ensure medications are organized, stocked, and readily available Deliver medications to patient care areas and collaborate with healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment You'll thrive in this role if you're detail-oriented, work well with diverse teams, and are motivated to provide high-quality patient care. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires a Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Michigan. 6 months pharmacy experience preferred. Must have the ability use a computer keyboard and type approximately 25 words per minute. Must be able to work with a wide variety of people under sometimes stressful situations, and be motivated to provide high quality patient care.
