Retail Operations Coordinator

Role Mission It is an “hands on” key role in the optimization of stores processes, from both an operational and administrative prospective. Key Accountabilities Retail network support Support the Retail Operations Manager and the Retail Management in the implementation and execution of all stores’ related activities. Supervising all BOH operations, she/he is accountable for the efficiency of the stockrooms, from their layout to space optimization, as the way to ensure the selling floor is always supported at its best Interact with stores and retail partners, trying to establish effective and strong relationships Keep an up to date knowledge of systems and train store staff if and when required, support key projects, operational trainings and monitor progresses Enforce and execute all policies and procedures regarding store operations, ensuring a strong level of awareness amongst the stores. Ensure a constant and effective presence in the stores of his/her perimeter, in order to ensure organizational guidelines, procedures and standards are maintained at all times Logistics and warehousing Ensure the correct flow of stock from the warehouse into the stores, and work with the stores’ stock teams so that product is available on the selling floor in a timely manner Support the stores in the execution of store-to-store transfers and returns of merchandise and monitor their progresses. New stores Support all the operational activities linked to new stores’ opening/refurbishment at store level, within assigned countries Help the Retail Operations Manager in the coordination of all the departments involved in the project Overall store appearance Oversee the maintenance of the store and ensure right standards are met at all times Follow up with relevant departments on the implementation of required actions Inventory activities Oversee and lead stock movements procedures Support the organization of the physical stock-take and the analysis of results, in coordination with Inventory Control Monitor random inventory schedule progresses, as a tool to reduce shrinkage and sales loss, through an accurate inventory Uniforms and Packaging Support the whole process linked to uniforms and packaging management, from the ordering phase to the in store reception, storage and the proper distribution, in direct partnership with the Special Flows team of the planning office Continuous monitoring of the flow in order to ensure compliance with guidelines and achieve efficiency in terms of costs and delivery time Key Requirements Fluent in English and local language Retail Operations experience, possibly in a store based role Highly committed to Gucci brand and strong passion for opportunity presented Good Excel Strong analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude Organizational, interpersonal multi-tasking and communication skills “Get things done” mindset Start-up mindset Knowledge about sales and operational strategies
