Director of People Operations

Role Description The Director of People Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Draper, UT, responsible for leading all aspects of the people function at Redo. This role oversees HR strategy, including the development and implementation of HR policies, performance management programs, and employee engagement initiatives aligned with company goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, coaching managers on people practices, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts. The Director of People Operations will partner with senior leadership to build a positive, inclusive workplace culture, refine organizational processes, and use people data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Qualifications Strong Human Resources (HR) leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling people operations in growing organizations. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain effective HR policies and processes that support business objectives. Proficiency in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture. Experience developing and overseeing performance management frameworks, feedback cycles, and talent development programs. Solid understanding of labor and employment law and ability to ensure compliance across all HR practices and procedures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Experience with HRIS and people analytics tools to guide data-informed decisions and measure the impact of HR initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Draper, UT and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
