Content Editor If you write English directly rather than translating into it, this is a role where you’ll own the content for clients selling products and services into markets abroad, end to end. About Magnero Magnero is a digital marketing agency headquartered in the United States, with a second office in Istanbul. We manage our clients’ digital presence across the whole chain rather than a single link in it: from building the website to running the ads, from conversion work to setting up the CRM. Our design, engineering, content and performance marketing teams work side by side on the same accounts. That means the work you produce doesn’t get handed off and disappear — you see what it does, inside the same team. About the role As Content Editor you’ll plan, write and publish blog, website and digital channel content for our clients. Our portfolio runs from product brands to service and solution providers, and most of them are based abroad or serve audiences abroad, so the majority of your output will be in English, with Turkish work alongside it. Writing English directly — not translating into it — is a prerequisite for this role. So is carrying several brand voices at once without letting them bleed into each other. We’re looking for at least 3 years of experience in content editing or content writing. What you’ll do Write blog posts, website copy and campaign content for our clients, mostly in English and some in Turkish; bring externally sourced drafts up to publishing standard Build the editorial calendar, track deadlines and keep the process moving Edit against each client’s style guide and tone rules, and hold that consistency Publish through WordPress or the client’s own CMS: H1–H6 hierarchy, page title and meta description, image placement, internal links Work with the SEO team to align content with target keywords and search intent, including keyword usage that reads naturally to the target market Track how published content performs and feed what you learn into the next content plan What we’re looking for The ability to write English content from scratch: copy that reads as written rather than translated, and fits the tone of the target market (C1 or above in writing) At least 3 years in content editing or content writing, part of it producing English-language content Strong command of Turkish spelling, grammar and punctuation; able to edit your own copy and someone else’s Experience publishing through WordPress or a comparable CMS Solid SEO fundamentals: keyword and search-intent-led content, heading structure, meta description writing, internal linking logic Using AI tools for research and idea development, while owning the writing and the editorial judgment on anything that ships Prioritizing several pieces of work against deadlines at once Comfortable working in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) Able to handle day-to-day correspondence and meetings with our US office and international clients in English Nice to have Experience writing for the US or other international markets Experience bringing AI-assisted drafts up to publishing standard Reading content performance in GA4 Reading keyword and content data in Ahrefs or Semrush Agency experience running several clients in parallel Working conditions Location: Istanbul, at Office Type: Full-time Hours: Turkish time zone This role is for someone joining our Istanbul office; it is not open to remote or hybrid work. You’ll work on shared projects with our US office, but your hours follow Turkish time. There is no expectation of shifting to US hours.
