About the Position The HR Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the organization’s overall human resources strategy. This position partners closely with executive leadership and managers to align people practices with business objectives, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performing and engaged workplace. The HR Director provides strategic leadership across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, compliance, performance management, organizational development, HR systems, and workforce planning. This role balances long-term strategic planning with hands-on leadership and execution, ensuring HR programs are practical, compliant, and aligned with organizational needs. • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and business priorities.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and managers on workforce, organizational, and employee matters.
• Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, growth, leadership transitions, and other significant business changes.
• Identify organizational trends and recommend strategies to improve retention, engagement, productivity, and workplace culture.
• Develop and maintain programs that support employee engagement, recognition, development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee the organization’s talent acquisition strategy.
• Partner with leaders to identify workforce needs, organizational structure, position requirements, and staffing priorities.
• Develop workforce planning strategies that anticipate future organizational and talent needs.
• Support succession planning and development of internal talent for key positions.
• Oversee compensation philosophy, salary structures, job classifications, and related programs.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, negotiation, and ongoing management of HR-related vendors and service providers.
• Oversee employee benefits programs, including health and welfare benefits, retirement programs, leave programs, and other employee offerings.
• Regularly evaluate benefit plans and HR services for competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and employee value.
• Partner with finance and executive leadership on workforce costs, compensation planning, and benefit strategy.
• Partner with leadership to identify training and development needs.
• Establish leadership development and employee development initiatives.
• Support career development, succession planning, and internal advancement opportunities.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development.
• Participate as a member of the organization’s leadership team and contribute to broader business decisions.
• Provide HR perspective during organizational planning, budgeting, strategic initiatives, and operational decisions.
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and maintain a visible, approachable HR presence.
• Promote a workplace culture based on respect, accountability, transparency, and effective communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and organizational matters. Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent professional certification preferred. Related Experience:
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategy at an organizational level.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent management.
• Experience managing HR & Benefits systems, vendors, and external service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to advise and influence executive leadership and managers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
