Warehouse Clerk - Kit Building

Job Overview The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for processing outbound product shipments. Inbound freight duties include receiving shipments (pallets), product stocking, filing and scanning inventory documentation and certifications. The warehouse clerk is also responsible for coordinating and processing individual outbound shipments, which may include transfers and Government Orders. This includes but is not limited to picking product, generating shipping and barcode labeling and ensuring proper packaging/shipping documentation. The Warehouse Clerk will be cross trained, as needed, to support other Operations initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities: Locate and pick product in a local warehouse using order picker/forklift and pallet jack equipment Pulling items according to the pick ticket. Prepare items for shipping by weighing, labeling, and packing goods. Count and package based on order requirements and due dates on pick tickets Meeting specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. Process outbound shipments generating shipping labels using FedEx, UPS, and DHL software. Invoice and print bar codes for labeling Stocking and retrieving boxes off the racks using an order picker and/or forklift or pallet jack equipment Performs inventory cycle counts, tracking results and progress in Excel and QX. Participates in facility projects including inventory and storage layouts. Maintains separated products, organized and in good rotation. Stock goods accurately, stored safely on the shelf and in an organized manner.Receiving materials some requiring analyzing and cross-referencing multiple levels of Material Certifications and Test Reports. Perform stock checks, investigating any missing inventory, cycle counting, and verifying stock balances. Manage Vendor Managed Inventory Bins Set-up new bins as needed Adjust bins and bag sizes as needed Scan bins for replenishment using a tablet and scanner Scan bags into the correct bin using a tablet and scanner Adheres to the Safety Policy Maintains a clean, neat, well-organized, and safe work area. Reports any mechanical problems with equipment. Identify opportunities to improve processes. Must comply to all CSF policies and procedures Adhere to a positive working environment Job duties are subject to change based on business needs at management’s discretion.
