Role Overview Position title: Expansion Associate Position location: Maslak, Istanbul, TR We are seeking a detail-oriented Expansion Associate to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, with a primary focus on growing our business across leading global marketplaces. This entrepreneurial role involves managing inventory, marketing, advertising campaigns, and merchandising, with the goal of driving growth and maximizing performance on these platforms. The ideal candidate will approach the role like a business owner within the company, leveraging strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to ensure seamless operations and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities Take full ownership of the overall performance and P&L for marketplaces, driving growth, profitability, and strategic expansion across global marketplaces. Execute data-driven marketing strategies by launching and monitoring campaigns, implementing pricing and discount plans, and analyzing performance to enhance visibility and conversions. Manage and optimize marketplace operations by overseeing product listings, inventory allocation, pricing updates, and compliance across platforms to ensure seamless day-to-day functionality. Support automation and process optimization by leveraging tools and dashboards to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and adapt to marketplace-specific dynamics. Track, analyze, and report performance metrics , including inventory levels, pricing benchmarks, and campaign ROI, by creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support decision-making for leadership teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including the tech team, to develop efficient workflows for product onboarding, creative updates, and promotional activities while maintaining brand consistency. What you will bring to HiCCUP A new graduate from top-tier universities, preferably studying in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration. Ability to work from our Maslak, Istanbul, office and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience or strong interest in e-commerce operations, digital marketplaces, marketing, or related fields; familiarity with marketplace platforms is a plus. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment. A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to zero defects in execution and passion for optimizing operational processes in a growing startup.
