Registered Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing quality nursing care in a senior living setting. Key Responsibilities Follow physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies to ensure high standards of care. Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous routes. Supervise and guide nursing assistants and orderlies. Assist physicians during rounds, physical examinations, and treatments. Perform scheduled treatments, document care, and maintain infection control protocols. Support research related to nursing care quality and assist with patient records and assessments. Coordinate with staff to schedule physicals and ensure timely completion of documentation. Qualifications & Skills Current, valid RN license from the appropriate state licensing board. Graduated from an accredited nursing program. CPR certified annually. Ability to supervise staff, make informed decisions, and work collaboratively. Dependable, flexible, patient, and tactful in interactions with patients, families, and healthcare team. Interest in geriatric nursing and commitment to providing compassionate care. Additional Requirements: Attend in-service training, adhere to infection control standards, and pass background checks. This role emphasizes quality patient care, supervision, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
