Volunteer Data Management Lead – OHS Mentorship Programme Organisation: International Institute of Health, Safety and Environment (IIHSE) Employment Type: Volunteer Workplace Type: Remote Primary Location: Türkiye – Remote Compensation: Unpaid Duration: Approximately 3 months Time Commitment: Approximately 1–2 hours per week About IIHSE The International Institute of Health, Safety and Environment (IIHSE) is a non-profit professional and social-impact organisation working to advance health, safety, environmental responsibility, professional development and knowledge sharing through international collaboration and volunteer-led initiatives. About the Programme The IIHSE OHS Mentorship Programme is a structured, volunteer-led professional development initiative that connects early-career occupational health and safety professionals with experienced practitioners. The programme supports professional development through one-to-one mentoring, ethical practice, knowledge sharing and structured guidance over an approximately three-month period. We are seeking a Volunteer Data Management Lead to support the organisation, tracking and reporting of programme-related data during the international implementation of the programme. This is an unpaid, remote and flexible volunteer position . Applications are welcome from professionals worldwide. Responsibilities Organise and maintain programme-related data and records. Maintain structured participant tracking systems for mentors and mentees. Create and maintain spreadsheets for programme monitoring. Support the tracking of applications, matching processes and programme participation. Prepare basic summaries and reports to support programme monitoring. Help maintain data accuracy, consistency and completeness. Support the Programme Coordinator and Operations Lead with relevant programme data when required. Handle participant information in accordance with IIHSE’s confidentiality and data protection principles. Help ensure that access to programme data is appropriately managed. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools . Experience in data organisation, tracking, reporting or administrative data management. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organise structured datasets and maintain clear records. Ability to work independently and systematically. Good command of English. Ability to work effectively in a remote and international environment. Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per week for 3 months . Commitment to IIHSE’s ethical, confidentiality and data protection principles. Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, data visualisation, automation tools or similar technologies is an advantage but is not required. Working Model The role is remote, flexible and primarily task-based . There is no standing weekly meeting requirement and no expectation of continuous online availability . Most work will be carried out asynchronously, with occasional communication when required by programme activities.
