We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and be based at our Bursa facility in Turkiye. Key Responsibilities Execute daily production line inspections and preventive maintenance (PM) activities, ensuring all work orders are properly completed, recorded, and closed in the CMMS system. Perform basic KUKA robot teaching, zero-point calibration, and peripheral fault diagnosis, with no responsibility for advanced robot programming. Disassemble, inspect, adjust, and restore the precision and functionality of spot-welding guns, servo systems, cylinders, pneumatic systems, tooling fixtures, and conveying chains/positioning mechanisms. Troubleshoot Siemens PLC signals and I/O mapping, identify bus faults, and support basic PLC-related troubleshooting, without requiring independent development of major PLC programs. Use measuring equipment such as megohmmeters and laser power meters for equipment testing. Strictly implement LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, machine guarding requirements, high-voltage safety procedures, and on-site safety inspections covering gas cylinders, quick-change discs, and safety valves. Maintain workshop tools and measuring instruments, perform daily cleaning and 5S activities, and promptly report abnormal wear, recurring equipment faults, and potential safety hazards. Support engineers in root cause analysis of equipment downtime, equipment modifications, and trial production activities. Participate in team TPM activities and internal technical skills training. Read and write basic English for work orders, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation. Collaborate effectively with local teams and engineers while complying with Turkish factory İSG (OHS) regulations and EHS requirements. Qualifications Education: Technical school/college diploma or above in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Automotive, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in BIW welding equipment maintenance within the automotive industry. Experience with welding robots, spot-welding systems, and fixture maintenance is preferred. Technical Skills: Able to independently perform basic robot reset and teaching operations, as well as disassembly and maintenance of tool changers. Good understanding of electrical and pneumatic schematics, with practical skills in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical adjustment and troubleshooting. Knowledge of welding systems, cooling units, and basic servo troubleshooting, with proficiency in using common electrical, insulation, and measurement testing equipment. Language: Basic working proficiency in Turkish and English, including reading, writing, and workplace communication ( A2/B1 level ). Chinese is a plus. Certifications: Electrician's license, high-voltage operation certificate, original robot manufacturer training certificates, and LOTO/EHS certificates are preferred. Other: Willingness to work in factory shift schedules and participate in emergency on-call duties. Strong safety awareness, hands-on capability, and execution skills are required.
