With a focus on sustainability, safety, and operational excellence, they strive to enhance the customer experience, increase rail usage, and “Transform The Future Of Mobility.”&nbsp;Reports to:&nbsp;Senior Manager&nbsp;&nbsp; Location:&nbsp;Chicago, New York City, or Washington, D.C. (Hybrid) Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp; Transform client requirements into effective and efficient operational plans.&nbsp; Responsible for overseeing and ensuring quality of technical work produced&nbsp;at&nbsp;your direction by analysts and consultants on projects.&nbsp; Develops and&nbsp;maintains&nbsp;strong client relationships.&nbsp; Perform research and quantitative analyses, conduct and coordinate&nbsp;studies&nbsp;and lead workshops. &nbsp; Present project results to senior management. &nbsp; Prepares proposals and pursuits, including the development of project methodologies,&nbsp;budgets&nbsp;and schedules.&nbsp; Leverage the knowledge and&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;of Deutsche Bahn’s railway subject matter experts in our other consulting projects, where applicable. &nbsp; Requirements:&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation,&nbsp;Business Administration or similar (M.Sc.)&nbsp; Minimum of 4 years of experience in railroad operations planning, timetable development, or service design, including direct experience working with a Class 1 railroad in the United States.&nbsp; Deep understanding of American freight railroad operations, capacity planning, and coordination between infrastructure owners and train operators.&nbsp; Project management skills, including experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and client deliverables. Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently; aptitude to quickly grasp new concepts and effectively produce results.  &nbsp; Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills.  &nbsp; Experience in&nbsp;using MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for performing analyses and developing quantitative models.     &nbsp; Passion for tackling complex challenges in&nbsp;mobility&nbsp;and railway transportation sector.    &nbsp; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills. &nbsp;&nbsp; Preferred skills and experience:&nbsp; Demonstrated&nbsp;proficiency&nbsp;with simulation tools, such as RTC or similar dynamic simulation software.&nbsp; Working Conditions and Travel: Employees direct supervisor will determine a plan for hybrid work.
