Business Development & Technical Projects Director Aviation | Energy | Industrial Infrastructure Location: İstanbul  Travel Requirement: Türkiye and GCC countries About CMA Group CMA Group is an international engineering and industrial solutions group with operations in Türkiye, Germany and Qatar. We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Technical Projects Director to lead project development activities, establish strategic client relationships and contribute to the delivery of complex technical projects in Türkiye and the Gulf region. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop business opportunities in aviation, energy and industrial infrastructure projects Build and manage relationships with airport operators, EPC contractors, government entities, consultants and industrial clients Monitor upcoming investments, tenders and project pipelines across Türkiye and GCC countries Lead prequalification, vendor registration and client approval processes Coordinate technical proposals, commercial offers, tender submissions and contract negotiations Develop strategic partnerships, consortium structures and subcontractor networks Assess project feasibility, commercial viability, delivery risks and resource requirements Support project planning, budgeting, procurement and execution strategy Coordinate internal and external engineering disciplines throughout the project development process Represent CMA Group in high-level client, partner and stakeholder meetings Contribute to the Group’s regional growth and market-entry strategies Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 10 years of professional experience Proven experience in business development, tendering, project management or technical contracting Strong background in airport, energy, oil and gas, industrial facility or infrastructure projects Sound knowledge of EPC, Design & Build and turnkey project delivery models Experience in technical and commercial proposal preparation Strong understanding of contracts, cost structures, project risks and subcontractor management Established professional network within relevant sectors Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills Full professional proficiency in English Willingness to travel regularly within Türkiye and GCC countries Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman or Kuwait Experience with airport operators, energy companies, international EPC contractors or public authorities Knowledge of FIDIC and international contracting practices PMP, MBA or relevant professional certification Arabic language capability What CMA Group Offers A senior leadership role within an international and growing organization Direct involvement in strategic projects across Türkiye and the Gulf region Opportunity to work with leading global manufacturers, contractors and infrastructure operators High level of responsibility and direct access to executive management Performance-based career and compensation structure Long-term professional development within the Group Candidates who combine strong technical judgment with commercial capability and established sector relationships are invited to apply.
