This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER (MVO), Position Description Number T7050000 and is part of the PA State Army Aviation Office, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. lass B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements are Required within first 6 months of assignment As a Fuel Distribution System Worker (MVO), WG-5413-08, you will refuel rotary and fixed-wing aircraft using hot and cold refueling methods. Transfer fuel from bulk tanks to aircraft refuel vehicles and other customers by operating pumps and accessory equipment. Provide transient alert assistance and marshalling services. Perform administrative tasks in support of the Fuel Distribution System Worker (MVO). Perform other duties as assigned. (See Required Documents section) Priority Placement Program, DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Eligible Priority Placement Program, DoD MR and NG Preference Eligible Tech Receiving Disability Retirement Priority Placement Program, DoD Retained Grade Employees Priority Placement Program, Military Spouse Preference (MSP) Supervisor for this position is Mr. Sweigart GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Application must indicate experience or training working in activities such as large fuel depots or fuel farms with complex, interconnecting line and pipe arrangements, and frequent requirements for large scale movement and transfer of a variety of liquid fuels QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.
