You will oversee transportation operations across our plants and terminals, manage supplier and carrier relationships, and drive continuous improvement and digitalization across our logistics processes. Key Responsibilities Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations and planning, covering raw materials, fuels, interplant movements, terminals and finished-product deliveries to customers. Plan, coordinate and monitor road activities across plants and terminals, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution. Coordinate logistics service requirements with internal stakeholders and support transportation tendering, contract and guarantee processes. Research and evaluate alternative logistics suppliers and transportation solutions, and support supplier selection and negotiation processes. Monitor logistics supplier performance in terms of service quality, cost, capacity availability and contractual compliance. Coordinate plant and terminal logistics activities, including weighbridge operations, truck flow, loading processes and compliance with transportation contracts. Monitor and report logistics costs and operational KPIs, identify deviations and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor company-owned and contracted fleet operations, including vehicle availability, utilization, maintenance requirements and operational compliance. Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, including route optimization, vehicle utilization, load optimization and backhaul opportunities. Work closely with Sales, S&OP, Procurement and Plant Operations to ensure logistics capacity and transportation plans are aligned with operational requirements. Support logistics digitalization and reporting initiatives to improve operational visibility and data-driven decision making. Qualifications & Requirements University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain operations, preferably in cement, building materials, manufacturing or heavy industry Experience in road transportation and fleet operations Experience in logistics supplier management, transportation sourcing, tendering and contract processes Experience in logistics cost analysis, operational KPI tracking and reporting Very good command of written and spoken English Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with SAP knowledge; experience with transportation/fleet management or reporting tools is an advantage Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, planning and coordination skills Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple internal stakeholders and external logistics suppliers Hands-on, result-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment Willing and able to travel frequently and work closely with plant, terminal and field operations
