Responsibilities In the Staff Accountant position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Preparation of journal entries to ensure accuracy and completion of general ledger Preparation, review and analysis of account reconciliations General accounting support to all levels of staff and management Maintenance of internal controls Assistance in year-end audits and quarterly reviews Preparation of review packages Preparation of budgets Preparation and review of tax filings, including sales & use tax for multiple states and certain state excise tax Preparation of financial statements Requirements For the Staff Accountant role, the employer seeks the following skills and experience: 2 or more years of accounting experience Systems skills: Excel, Access and SAP STRONGLY PREFERRED CPA preferred
