# Senior Backend Developer

About OctoXLabs OctoXLabs focusing on the biggest challenges in IT and Security. OctoXlabs is a single platform that correlates asset data from existing solutions to provide an always up-to-date inventory, uncover gaps, and automate action to control complexity. As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll play an important role in shaping our technologies, focusing on server-side logic to optimal performance to requests from the front end. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented engineering team to design, build, and scale sophisticated systems while refining and advancing our existing codebase through all development lifecycle phases. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Architect and code robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions using Python and Django, Version Control: Utilize Git for efficient version control and dependency management, Code Reviews: Perform code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers, Mentorship: Guide junior developers, culture of learning and growth by sharing best practices, Agile Collaboration: Work sharly in team settings and independently, employing agile methodologies for dynamic project management, Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, translating complex technical specifications into actionable development tasks, Technical Design: Transform functional specifications into detailed technical designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Engineering departments, 5+ years of professional experience restful api development and design, Expertise in Python and Django, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, performant software, A strong sense of ownership and a commitment to delivering software solutions, Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, Proficiency in Git, Linux, SQL, Queue technologies, and a solid understanding of Elasticsearch and big-data frameworks, Experienced in micro-services architectures and multi-tenant architecture, as well as Docker and containerization practices, Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud technologies (Azure or AWS), Knowledgeable in cybersecurity, internet protocols, and bash scripting is a big plus.
