Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design and build systems to parse and extract information from legal contracts using AI and LLM techniques. • Own and operate distributed systems that process confidential contractual data under demanding service level agreements. • Develop event-driven architectures leveraging cloud services. • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define project scope and technical direction. • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and operations. • Write high-quality, testable code in modern programming languages. What You'll Need • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Experience with object-oriented design and at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#). • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle. • Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scaling. • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers. • Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or large language model fundamentals is a plus.
