Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Disability Insurance

Provide quality financial insight and analytics in support of the Group Disability business. Lead a team that provides the financial planning and forecasting process for the Disability business on GAAP and Statutory basis. Determine business drivers of profitability supported by insightful financial analytics. Develop strategic business plans to validate underlying modeling assumptions by building strong relationships with business partners. Understand key business drivers, how they impact the business, and the implications to forecast and plans. Understand the Group Disability Insurance industry and competitive environment. Lead the preparation and development of presentations of forecasted operating results for presentation to business group heads and Financial Management executives. Support the Group Disability Insurance business with various ad hoc strategic projects, presentations and requests. Group Disability planning and analysis experience REQUIRED Degree in Accounting/Finance 8+ years of related experience Advanced degree and/or CPA/CFA a plus Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting up to $170K plus 55%
