# Application Engineer II

Position Summary The Application Engineer plays a vital role in driving our business forward by supporting the development of innovative solutions tailored to our customers' needs. The mission is to assist in nurturing existing accounts while actively contributing to new business opportunities. To gain hands-on technical expertise in our applications, systems, and products, enabling to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects. Collaborating closely with experienced team members, deepen the understanding of Parker's offerings and customer requirements, supporting growth and success in the engineering field. Responsible to build up relationship and network with customers. Responsibilities Customer Experience: Collects and summarizes customer expectations regarding system and product requests, including deliverables. Actively listens to customer feedback, responds promptly with informed solutions and communicates insights to stakeholders to enhance overall customer satisfaction. Continuous Improvement: Actively pursues self-improvement and engages in new initiatives while balancing work responsibilities. Understands and follows established processes, asks insightful questions and contributes knowledge to foster a positive work environment. Embraces change, adapts to new conditions, and collaborates with others to effectively solve problems. Parker Values: Strives for team success by balancing personal and team goals, supporting colleagues, and sharing positive insights. Listens to customers to understand their needs, maintains integrity by keeping commitments, and seeks help when necessary. Embraces diversity by assisting others and asking for support when needed. Relationship Building: Works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel comfortable and respected. Appreciates others' contributions and maintains long-term relationships while demonstrating empathy toward their challenges. Additionally, develops and strengthens networks within Parker and with customers to enhance collaboration and support. Brings enthusiasm to their role, eager to learn and develop skills. Seeks solutions to challenges by asking for help and communicate any obstacles that may impact the commitments. Supporting Growth: Works on assigned tasks and identifies growth opportunities in familiar areas. Understanding B2B models, adapting the approach based on customer size (OEM/Distributor) and suggest solutions while seeking help for challenges beyond their expertise. Proposes process improvements and actively seeks feedback to identify strengths and areas for development. Qualifications Mechanical Engineering Backround min. 5 Years of experience at mobile&industrial hydraulics systems Effective communication skills with customers and team members in English and native language Ability to assist in breaking down complex problems Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges Understanding of customer needs and expectations Willingness to travel to customers for relationship building and tailored technical support Ability to set personal goals aligned with team objectives
