Senior Accountant

Support the month-end close process, including financial statement analysis, review and consolidation of various internal reporting deliverables, and the coordination & review of monthly Intercompany accounting in accordance with the Wyndham timelines. Ensure all monthly SOX documentation is prepared timely & accurately and follow-up items are addressed on a timely basis. Support the regions on US GAAP accounting issues and provide accounting and reporting guidance to the regional Finance teams. Coordinate and prepare all Wyndham Quarterly reporting packages, which are used to support external financial disclosures and review with management. Complete various detailed analyses related to the P&L and Balance Sheet. Ensure that processes and controls are documented and operating in a manner compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Support the development and implementation of controls, process enhancements, and accounting policies in connection with Wyndham Exchange & Rentals accounting and reporting structure. Complete special projects and analysis as requested by senior management. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, as well as CPA required or in process Minimum of 5-7 years experience, with a mix of experience in Public and Private accounting Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of US GAAP and strong analytical skills Strong understanding of month-end financial processes and previous experience in consolidations group with month-end closing experience is strongly preferred. Strong organizational & communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Hyperion/HFM preferred Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. Ability to adapt to changing requests & ability to prioritize workload. Detail oriented 70-85k Global Hospitality Organization
